Quest: Dire Straits

• Quest lasts: Feb. 7, 2012 – Feb. 29, 2012
• You can progress down both branches simultaneously.
• If you finish either 3a or 3b, you can start on 4.
• If you finish either 4a or 4b, you can start on 5.
• If you finish either main branch before the other, part 1 (A Missile in Your Pocket) will not reset.  Immediately restart part 2 of the same branch.  Otherwise, if you wait until you finish the other main branch, you will have to repeat part 1.
• Both main branches (parts 3b and 3) require 1 expansion.  Time your expansion to fulfill both parts at the same time.

1 – A Missile in Your Pocket

- Collect 5 Electric Screwdrivers to open the hatch.

- Use 10 Accuracy II Power-Up to steady your hand.

- Deal 25,000 Damage to Navy units.

Rewards:  5 Element Z, Target Jammer I, P-40 Warhawk Fighter

SpecOps Narwhal (700 hp) Path

2 – Sink, Sank, Sunk

- Collect 10 Wirecutters to cut the wires.

- Harvest 50 Pineapples

- Pillage 100 Neighbor islands.  [Includes invasions, collecting loot, and Battle Blitz.]

Rewards:  1 Field Repairs II, 1 Elite Thumper Artillery, 500 Oil

3a – It Could Be Aqua

- Collect 10 Multimeters.

- Build 3 Air Strike I Power-Ups.

- Defeat the enemy trying to prevent us from disarming the bomb.

Rewards:  1 Missile Attack II, 1 Yamato, 3 Mastery Tokens

3b – Briny Deep

- Collect 10 Circuit Testers

- Get 1 Expansion.

- Destroy 300 enemy Army units.

Rewards:  1 Poison Gas II, 1 USS Enterprise, 2 Energy Drinks

4 – Now with More Yellow

- Collect 15 Alligator Clips.

- Harvest 60,000 Oil.  [Can be bought from neighbors.]

- Collect 300 Black Hearts.

Rewards:  1 X-2 Copter, 1 Accuracy II, 3 Liberty Bonds

5 – All or Nothing

- Collect 15 Bomb Disposal Helmets.

- Collect 100 Energy from Neighbor visits.

- Deal 120,000 Damage to enemy Air Force units.

Rewards:  1000 Wood, 1 Evasion II, 1 Elite ASLAV Tank

Nukes (3, 5, or 7) Path

2 – Sultan of Bang

- Collect 10 Four Leaf Clovers.

- Harvest 30,000 Wood to build police barriers.  [Can be bought from neighbors, or use the place in market trick.]

- Destroy 100 enemy Air Force units.

Rewards:  1 EMP I, 1 F-35 Lightning II, 50 XP

3 – So Far Away

- Collect 10 Giant Monkey Wrenches.

- Get 1 Expansion.

- Defeat the enemy units.

Rewards:  1 Air Strike II, 1 Hind, 3 Liberty Bonds

4a – Heavy Fuel

- Collect 10 Pots of Coffee

- Speed Up 50 Neighbor Oil Rigs.

- Defeat the enemy units attacking our defusers. [1 Buzzard Autogyro, 2 Sparrowhawk Bombers, 2 SF Goblins]

Rewards:  1 Elite F18 Hornet, 1 Evasion II, 3 Element Z

4b – Brothers in Arms

- Collect 15 Magnets to help disarm the bomb.

- Collect 150 Red Hearts to reassure our people.

- Deal 120,000 Damage to enemy Army units.

Rewards:  1 Missile Attack II, Elite P61 Blackwidow, 3 Liberty Bonds

5 – Local Hero

- Collect 15 Drums of Liquid Cheese.

- Harvest 200 Chili Peppers to make nachos after.

- Repel 80 PvP invasions to keep the bomb stable.

Rewards: 1 Zynga Zeppelin, 1 Elite X-2 Copter, 1 Evasion III
