Amity Lighthouse

The Amity Lighthouse is a 3 x 3 x 3 decor that can be placed on water. It must be crewed to be activated. Once activated, you receive rewards every time the Lighthouse's light illuminates your harbor. The Amity Lighthouse's item code is DB14.

One of Zynga's newest social games is the Ville, which appears to be a Sims clone. The Ville is being cross-promoted in Zynga's other games, including Empires & Allies.

The maximum level was increased from 75 to 85 sometime during June 2012. At the same time, the buildable Tier 8 units were released.

Just prior to the above changes, the required levels for the Tier 7 units were decreased. There is now an overlap between the required levels for the standard Tier 6 and Tier 7 units.

Drone Command Center

The Drone Command Center is a 3 x 3 x 3 bonus decor that increases the area of your invasions for 15 minutes. As a result, you will be able to receive more resources from invasions. This decor's item code is BB27.

The Drone Command Center needs to be crewed in order to be activated. Once activated, it cannot be reactivated for another 24 hours.

The Crimson Copter

The Crimson Copter will be the first Tier 9 unit to be released. It is an Airship with base Strength of 1400 and comes fully upgraded with 1680 Strength--higher than any of the existing Tier 8 units. The Crimson Copter's item code is UB65.

For now, the Crimson Copter is the most powerful unit in Empires & Allies. Watch out for more Tier 9 units to come.

New, buildable Tier 8 units are coming soon! These can be built in the Barracks 4, Shipyard 4, or Air Hangar 4.

Farm Camp

The Farm Camp is a 2 x 2 x 1 bonus decor with a medium area of effect (2 cells). Like the Prison Camp, it is activated by capturing prisoners. Capturing 5, 10, or 15 prisoners give speed-ups of 15%, 30%, or 45%, respectively, to farm production.

The Farm Camp's item code is DB11.

There is a quest associated with the Farm Camp called "A-Farming We Will Go".

Quotes from the game:

Collect these parts to complete your Farm Camp. Once completed, you can capture prisoners and put them to work to speed up your Farms!
5, 10, and 15 prisoners will give you a boost of 15%, 30% and 45% respectively. They will be released after serving 3 days in the Camp.
I've just set up a Farm Camp to accelerate my agricultural production the old fashioned way - with manual labor.
Grow crops faster! Speed up Farms with the help of prisoners you capture.

The Scion

The Scion will be the next and 14th Tier 8 unit to be released. It is an Artillery unit with base Strength of 1300 and comes fully upgraded with 1560 Strength--the same as for the Kilowatt (Battleship) and higher than the other existing Tier 8 units. The Scion's item code is UM83.

The Scion is the strongest Artillery in Empires & Allies now. It is tied with the Kilowatt for being the strongest military unit in the entire game.

Trivia: Scion is a line of cars made by Toyota.

The Kilowatt

The Kilowatt will be the next and 13th Tier 8 unit to be released. It is a Battleship with base Strength of 1300 and comes fully upgraded with 1560 Strength--higher than any of the existing Tier 8 units. The Kilowatt's item code is UT49.

The Kilowatt is the strongest Battleship in Empires & Allies now, being the same Tier as the Poisedon USV but having 44.4% higher Strength. It is also the strongest military unit in the entire game, beating out the Beacon, Nimitzern, and Venom by 8.3% in Strength.

According to Wikipedia:

The kilowatt is equal to one thousand (103) watts. This unit is typically used to express the output power of engines and the power consumption of electric motors, tools, machines, and heaters. It is also a common unit used to express the electromagnetic power output of broadcast radio and television transmitters.

The Survival Mode Hack, as we knew it, was patched on May 3, 2012. Since then, a couple of working, alternative hacks have been spreading. One of them uses the Limited Edition Unit Factory (LEF).

The LEF Hack can be done using Charles or Cheat Engine. The hack is very simple to execute using Cheat Engine, and this article will explain this approach. I assume you know how to use Cheat Engine well, and will not go into as much detail as I did in previous articles.

Flagged Accounts

No matter what hack you may attempt, there is an issue you need to keep in mind. As many of you know, Zynga took away Tier 8 units from many players who did not purchase them. Zynga has also been flagging accounts for abuse of Tier 8 units.

The set of players who have been flagged is probably almost the same as the set of players who lost Tier 8 units. Players who were flagged might not be able to use hacks of any kind to produce Tier 8 units (there may be exceptions for technical reasons).

So if you can't seem to make Tier 8 units using this hack or any other hack, either you did something wrong or your account is flagged. In the latter case, be happy with hacking other units (like Super units) or try making Tier 8 units in a virgin account.

Steps to LEF Hack

Step 1 - Preparation

Have a Limited Edition Unit Factory built.

Have all the parts collected for one of the units.

As an example, I will convert a Hind (U113) to a Venom (UB52). Look up the codes for other LEF units here:

Step 2 - Set Up

Open up the Limited Edition Unit Factory.

Open Cheat Engine and attach the process belonging to the browser your Empires & Allies game is running on.

Step 3 - Convert

Scan for text "U113" including quotes. Replace with text "UB52" including quotes.

Press the button in the game to build the unit. Place it into a depot.

Refresh the game to see your new unit in the depot.
